I’m genuinely excited. After years of Nintendo’s constant innovation, this time I was just hoping for something simple—better performance and a bigger screen—and we got exactly that. Plus, backwards compatibility is a huge win. I really like the black design with those subtle color accents; it gives off a more “pro” vibe. The games will come—no way developers are ignoring a more powerful Switch, especially after the original sold like crazy. Sure, I wish the Joy-Cons were more ergonomic, but I get why they stuck with the current design for versatility. I’ll just grab a grip case like I always do. Since I mostly play in handheld mode, I’m thrilled with the upgrades. Honestly, I don’t get what some people are complaining about—it checks all the boxes for me.
