I'm not familiar with LG TV settings, but you want to make sure the TV is passing the sources audio codec through to the bar without doing its own encoding. On my Sony TVs, the setting is something like "Audio Passthrough" The Bose App will tell you which codec the bar is receiving, so that's the way to verify if you're getting Atmos. You're correct that Truespace spacializes all content into a pseudo atmos listening experience. It does a pretty good job, but I've found that well mixed atmos content does sound better, more convincing on both my soundbar 600 and 900.

They're trying to spin Wagoneer off as a sub-brand similar to what Hyundai initially did with Genesis. Hyundai Genesis, Hyundai Genesis coupe -> eventually Genesis stand-alone sub-brand.

My wife told me about this thing and I bought it while I was drunk without really looking into it. I totally forgot about it until it showed up yesterday. It’s almost useless, but as a tech guy I still was curious. There are red flags all over this thing. To sign into Apple Music or Spotify, you need to connect to them using a VNC (aka a server they control). This is such an egregious violation of normal security practices. I can’t believe engineering effort was spent on this instead of, you know, doing it the right way with their APIs.

good product has to be cheaper than nvidia so people witll buy it 7800xt is good raw power and lots of vram for 1440p. the downside is lacks features. ray tracing performance will be worse but not every game supports it. no dlss 3.0. they have FSR which works not as well as dlss 3.0 so if you want to save money and don't mind ray tracing and dlss not being a thing AMD if you like spending money and want all the features rtx 4070.
