  2. Wondering what major features are missing from this phone? Thinking of getting it for my 14 year old child.
  3. I loved the "Where are you really belong to" thing last year. This year is just basic. I hoped for some more fun. Just boring.
  4. I’m thinking of getting a soundbar mainly for gaming. Would a JBL soundbar be a good choice?
  5. Want to chime in as well. Current setup: Arc + Sub Mini + 2x Era 300 as well as Arc and Sub 3 (in another room) Tested the Ultra for a few hours today and standalone, it sounds a lot fuller and better then the normal Arc. Dialog is better but to me the Beam Gen 2 still takes #1 for center channel clarity. Combined with the Sub Mini and Era 300s I honestly barely noticed a difference. Dialog still a bit better, Athmos conted sounded more convincing - but that might have been placebo. All in all it's definately an upgrade, but not as night and day as I wanted it to be.
  6. For those outside USA. Settings> General> Language and Region>Preferred Language> English(US) Only after doing this can you join the waitlist
  7. Why the hell do people still buy apple stuff? A Garmin watch is the one you are looking for.
  8. What about everyone else being replaced?
  9. Can we create rigorous standards that protect US consumers and financial interests (taxing appropriately, not protectionism for amazon and walmart) and kick foreign interests that are hardly our friends out of US operations unless those standards are met, please? Foreign companies have been buying up our housing, food manufacturing, water, and tech infrastructure (i.e. our private data). Cheap plastic crap is almost the least of our worries (though yes, ban them too).
  10. Still missing. Such disappointment. I'm going to pass.
  11. someone said you can run navigation apps at high refresh rate without disabling LTPO on the op12, that's a really dope feature. I can't do that on my s24u
  12. For the regular 15 vs regular 16, beside AI and camera, you will likely get the action button. This is somewhat a game changer since you can program the mute mode (or mute switch) to activate with shortcuts since it's now software controlled. You can for example disable mute at work with a focus mode, allow some app to send notifications and block other app. That email will make a sound on your phone, but it will be a vibration at home without ever touching a button (if programmed well). With the regular 15, it can't be programmed. You gotta turn it off/on all the time and it's more likely to be always on mute mode because of this...
  13. I’m wanting my first drone and been looking at the Mini 3 pro. What’s the future look like for dji? Will we even be able to use that brand if they pass legislature on it? It sure looks like they’ll be shut down. Seeing the way they are using drones in the war between Russia and the Ukraine, it certainly doesn’t look good. Please someone educate me.
  14. Alongside the Pixel 9, Google is expected to release the Pixel Pro in two sizes: a larger 6.8-inch model and a smaller 6.3-inch variant. It’ll be the first time the Pro features are available in two different sizes, with the telephoto camera previously being reserved only for the larger phone model. The Pixel 9 and 9 Pro will also come with some distinct design changes. Both the Pro and standard models are getting flatter edges and a rounded camera module that protrudes from the back of the device. he Pixel 9 Pro models will come with a G4 Tensor chip (which is expected to come with slight upgrades) and 16GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the base Pixel 9 is expected to have the same chip with a 6.3-inch display and 12GB of RAM. Both phones could start with 128GB of storage, with options going up to 1TB on the Pro model. The cameras on both devices will likely get some updates as well, with the leaked spec sheet showing the Pixel 9 with a 10.5MP selfie camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 48MP ultrawide lens. The leak also indicates that the Pixel 9 Pro will have a 42MP selfie camera and three cameras on the rear, including a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultrawide lens, and 48MP telephoto camera.
  15. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Apple announcing its first smartwatch, and the company's popular wrist wearable is rumored to undergo a major overhaul to commemorate the occasion. The Apple Watch X (unofficial name) could have a leaner design and a new mechanism for attaching bands magnetically. According to several Bloomberg reports, we could also see added health features, such as blood-pressure monitoring. The name is reminiscent of the 2017 iPhone X, which saw a dramatic shift from Apple's previous design and coincided with the device's 10-year anniversary. Apple could take the wraps off the Apple Watch X, alongside the latest iPhone, at its annual launch event in the fall. However, the Watch X could also make its debut in 2025 since the first-gen Apple Watch shipped in 2015, even if it was announced in 2014. Anyone head anything else? I'm desperate to upgrade my apple watch byt would rather wait for the newest one to be released.
  16. In a nutshell, the iPad Air 2024 adds an M2 chip for more power and a new 13-inch size. And the iPad Pro 2024 gets a new tandem OLED display for better visuals, a much speedier M4 chip and a new Magic Keyboard. Plus, both the new iPad Air and iPad Pro support the new Apple Pencil Pro. Here's a little cheat sheet to help you make your decision. Hope this helps!
