Apple Vision Pro- how likely to use it??

I'm considering buying the Apple Vision pro- However I'm worried I'll quickly get tired of wearing a computer on my face, the device will end up in the closet. It's expensive so I want to know I'll make good use of it. I've also read that software developers lose interest in making apps for these devices.. what do people intend to use the Apple Vision pro for day to day or is it just something you'll use once a week?

I think the Apple Vision Pro is going to buck the trend of developers giving up shortly after launch. Developers will be remembering the early days of the App Store and how much cash there was to be made, so I think we'll see lots of development and apps in the first year. I think it'll only get serious though when they announce a more 'consumer friendly' model (maybe a non-pro) as right now, whilst 200,000 orders is impressive, it's not a lot of users in the grand scheme of things to make a lot of money from app sales.

 

Once the reviews start to come out later today, we'll see if the weight issue is overblown or not.
