New Intel rumour suggests powerful Battlemage GPU could be ditched

Apparently It’s not due to hardware issues, or problems realising the graphics card in the technical sense, but rather it is financial considerations that are in play here. In short, the fear is that the mid-range GPU may not be profitable enough to make sense.

 

If Battlemage doesn’t have the G10 with 56 Xe cores in the end, what will it have?

I think this is more of a symptom of the current economy then a shortcoming of the product. We're desperate to see a viable third player in the GPU space though so I hope this is not true.
