The 16 has a longer battery life (because it has a larger battery in the chassis) and some argue that the 16's have better airflow/cooling capabilities because they're less cramped internally, whether or not this is true I'm not sure. On the battery note, some comparisons suggest the 16 inch has an extra 4 hours battery compared with the 14 inch, which is pretty significant if that's important to you. Trade off is less portable and heavier. On the performance side you can also get more cores on the 16 inch variants (12 and 18 cores) vs 11 and 14 cores on the smaller model. Quote
