Meta is removing the ability to see phone notifications on your Quest

Does anyone know why Meta is removing this feature?? Without those notifications, it’s difficult to know what’s happening on your smartphone when you’re fully immersed in your Quest unless you pull the headset up from your eyes — which forces you to stop what you’re doing on your Quest.

It kinda makes sense IMO - when you think most apps are optimising to a relatively new metric: "attention share" then it makes sense that Meta would remove distractions that could take your attention away from their product. That said, it's not very user friendly. But then again, when are app updates ever user focused these days? They're always about "improving the algorithm" smh.
