Polly Ranton Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 Hi everyone, I'm planning to replace my old Dell tower with a new PC that I'll be building myself. I'm new to PC parts, so it's been quite a journey figuring it all out. Here’s the build I’m considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7gJWrv. Now, I need to choose a case. I love the design of the Meshify series but am having trouble deciding on a specific model. I initially picked the Meshify C based on its great reviews. Then I found the Meshify 2, which has a front USB-C port and other updates. Finally, I discovered the Meshify 2 Compact, which also has a front USB-C port but in a smaller form factor. Which case would you recommend for my build? The Meshify 2 seems quite large, and I might not need all that space. However, it might make the build process easier due to the extra room (since it’s my first time building a custom PC). Any advice on which case to choose and why? Thanks! Quote
Harry Wild Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 I’d pick the compact out of those two; the extra space in the bigger one (and I think there’s an XL too) is only really useful for stupidly big GPUs or if you’re water cooling. There’s also the smaller still mini version, which will require a smaller MATX motherboard and careful GPU selection. I’d also like to point out the Pop Air, the Torrent and the North, which are all worth considering if you like how they look. Quote
Gary Klein Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 Just finished building in a Meshify 2 Compact RGB, Focus 2 and Meshify mini. Clear winner was the Meshify 2 Compact, it is such a great case. Quote
