Stanryder Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 Hepl! My Google pixel watch won't charge.. Or it will charge but very inconsistently. Some days I will put it on the charge stand and it's absolutely fine the next morning, other days I take it off to put it on and it's only on 30% charge. What am I doing wrong or is it a software issue? Quote
Luke Friend Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 Hey! This is a common problem amongst Pixel watch users. I've been there myself (before I switched over to Apple watch). Here were a few things I tried when my watch wasn't charging properly, hopefully one of them resolves your issue. if not, it ay be a hardware problem as you say and you'll need to take it into the store that yo bought it in. - Check if your watch is seated correctly on its charging cradle. The device should alert you of an improper connection if it isn’t. When it does, remove the watch from the charger and reseat it. This should fix the issue. - Make sure you’re using the official Google Pixel Watch charging cable. Google explicitly states that the watch will not charge using another cable or cradle. Importantly, the watch won’t charge through Pixel phones’ reverse wireless charging capabilities. Good luck! Quote
