My Apple Watch 9 is acting weird - Is this a bug?

Very frustrated- the last couple of days my apple watch has been playing up (I have only had this watch since December 2023). First of all it started missing steps and not correctly showing my movement throughout the day, the next day it glitched entirely and locked me out. Kept telling me the passcode was incorrect but then loads of numbers would keep popping up when i tried to type my passcode. This then led to me having to wait another 59 minutes before I could attempt to get back in.. I eventually had to reset the entire watch. The next day I travelled from the UK to Dubai and my watch is now showing movement and exercise rings that I haven't even had yet.. What's going on with my watch? Help!

Quite a few people have reported this problem and it seems most people have managed to right it with rebooting. Not sure about the rings issue you've had.. might just bee the watch getting confused with time zones and this should eventually right itself if you turn the watch on and off again.. Have a read of some people's solutions on this forum as they seem to have experienced similar things to you. You can always book an appointment with apple and see what they say as well.
