  1. Will the increased RAM and third usb c port on the base model increase the base price? Has that been leaked yet?
  2. If you have the 15 Pro Max, you already have the 48 megapixels
  3. The analysis I have seen on other fora is that the SONY announcements were a disappointment is that there was nothing new in the less than $10K category whereas JVC has 2 new entries in that price range. The new higher end SONYs are credited with having very low latency making it great for serious gamers, but still don't have dynamic or adaptive tone mapping and still are behind JVC on lack of banding, contrast ratio and black levels, especially the 1 bright pixel test. So it is JVC for movies and TV and SONY for games. BTW, I own an NZ800 and am very happy with it. My prior projector was an NX7 and prior to that a SONY 385ES.
  4. My problem with the pixel line of phones is not their buy price (which as suggested also drops after a few weeks / months) The actual problem is the shitty resale values they hold. I have the pixel 7 and the pixel 8 pro. For a less than a year used pixel 7 I was offered 14k For a 6 month old pixel 8 pro the offer price was 23k! The pixel 8 pro I got for over a lakh and being offered 23k for it after a few months just feels plain disrespectful. Anyone buying a pixel phone, please be warned... Your resale is going to tank below 60% the minute you unbox it.
  5. I have a chip with this issue.... had... still have... I bought it in February and assembled in April. Failed in July. I contacted Intel and they overnighted me a chip (they kept a hostage fee to be returned). I'm on the replacement chip, who's box had a hand written sticker on it that said, "Good". Their replacement process felt like a weird scam with all of the odd questions, but they sent it. I'm currently stable with the Intel Recommended Nerfing in place. The whole industry is screwing us with weird issues. It's just Intel's turn, it was Asus last month. I think the big thing we all have to watch for is this concept of brand loyalty. I've built Asus/Intel/Nvidia systems for a very long time. They were the best and I just got stuck on them. Now, Asus and Intel are both having major issues. I'm coming to realize that I have been lazy all these years by relying on Brand Loyalty, as if they were actually loyal to us. We can no longer rely on reputation and promises.
