  1. I’m pretty sure we’re getting a MacBook Air M4—especially with all the recent price cuts on the M2 and M3 models!
  2. Here’s my take: Samsung & Google Pixel – Solid choices for a simple, reliable experience. Samsung offers variety, but quality dips as prices drop. Pixel is great if you love stock Android. Xiaomi – My personal favorite! Their UI, cameras, and software are a joy to use (though some find them a bit complicated). The Poco series is legendary for flagship-killer value. Vivo & Realme – Worth checking out; strong competitors in the mid-range and budget space. OnePlus – Premium feel, but can be overpriced at times. Samsung UI? Not a fan. Feels cluttered and frustrating to navigate. If you're unsure, start by looking up the Poco F6 Pro and see if it fits your needs. But hey, if Samsung or Pixel works for you, go for it—there’s a perfect phone out there for everyone!
  3. Gucci, LV etc are luxury products. Apple really isn't. Totally different scenarios.
  4. Setting up the Galaxy Ring is just like pairing any other Samsung wearable to your phone. As long as you already have the Wear app installed, you just open the Galaxy Ring box and wait for a pop-up to appear on the phone. I already had my health details pre-filled in Samsung Health from reviewing devices like the Galaxy Watch 6, but if you're new to the world of Samsung wearables, you'll want to enter in things like your birthdate, height and weight. It's going to take a few days of wearing the Ring to get any sort of real, actionable insights and tap into the promised Galaxy AI features, like wellness tips. But the energy score after my first night of sleep was 78 out of 100, not too bad considering I'd been running around New York City in sweltering heat and only managed six hours of sleep. Just like the Oura Ring, the Galaxy Ring has separate scores for sleep and energy. (Oura calls the latter the Readiness score). But even though my energy score was 78, my sleep score was a whopping 92. I've written before about the discrepancies between how you feel compared to a device's sleep score and was pretty surprised that my rating was so high given the Ring also identified I moved around a lot during the night.
  5. Best $6 I spend every month - there is never not anything on, the variety is awesome, and while I came for Dimension20, I've stayed for the long-running in-jokes that appear in multiple shows, like not knowing where Sam is from, and Josh being uncanny at seagull noises.
  6. I love my Model Y and have driven it for 35,000 kilometres so far. My one biggest grip would be the volatile pricing. I paid $82,900 for my Tesla and considered this a great deal as it was listed for as high as $99,000, however, you can now get this exact model new for $74,290. I'm normally quite careful to buy only cars with high resale values because I'm too fickle to usually keep a car longer than a couple of years so this stings a lot. Tesla claims a zero-to-100 kilometre an hour acceleration of 3.7 seconds for the Model Y Performance, but my car is not so quick when the battery is not fully charged. One thing I do love is a couple of years ago, my wife and I were spending about $1,000 a month on gas, and now ourr two cars cost about $80 a month in electricity. The 15-inch screen is a wonderful thing when the car is parked because it really does transform the vehicle into a living room. I catch up on my favourite Netflix series while waiting for my son at sports practice: The car is kept warm without needing to idle, and the surround-sound is phenomenal. There's definite downs to the model Y.. but on the whole I love mine.
