  1. The biggest ones for me are that there's no second camera of magsafe compatability. Not supporting MagSafe technology, limits compatibility with certain accessories and faster wireless charging and its only quipped with a single 48-megapixel rear camera, it lacks an ultra-wide lens, telephoto lens, and advanced modes like Cinematic and Action. For a teenager this seems pretty important...
  2. The title should have been: A Chinese startup just exposed how inefficient and overhyped American VCs and startups are. Deepseek was just a side project for a few bored hedge fund quants—no deep LLM experience, no cutting-edge hardware. Yet, with only $5.5 million and off-the-shelf tech, they’ve reached OpenAI’s level. Let that sink in. 😂
  3. I absolutely love my LeGo for the reasons you cite plus the ability to pack that bad boy down to about the size of an iPad mini neoprene sleeve for times I wanna travel. Unhook controllers and put a rubber band around ‘em; put the screen in a sleeve, and bam — no wasting half a suitcase on the absolutely GINORMOUS travel cases most of the bigger handhelds require.
  4. The idea of an even more portable Steamdeck alternative (and of course an OLED screen) is nice, but Vega graphics just aren't competitive at all for a gaming handheld PC post-Steamdeck. As the pretty awesome box plots in the article (which I greatly prefer to video, thanks for still making those) show, the Steam Deck generally delivers 50% more performance at the same power consumption level. The other point I personally wouldn't want to give up on are the Steam Deck's excellent and varied inputs. I realize that this is probably not as big a deal for everyone, but the fact that the Deck has all the usual dual analog cotnroller inputs plus two touchpads with haptic feedback and 4 back buttons is really quite important to me. I got used to having freely configurable back buttons available with the Steam controller, and the only thing better than 2 back buttons is 4 back buttons.
  5. Got the Bose soundbar 600 and bass module 500. It’s amazing love the crisp sound of the SB and good filling lows on the BM. I have the LG UR7500 and have used the eArc as mode of connection. I wanted to experience the Dolby atmos. But I see that not many movies aren’t available. I tried downloading few movies with Dolby atmos and play it with the usb. I can feel bit of the spatial sound but I think it’s more of the Bose trueSpace effect and not the atmos. Can you guys help me how I can experience true actual Dolby atmos.
  6. Oh, for sure! If you’re cool with spending a bit more, the JBL Bar 5.1 Surround is a beast. That wireless subwoofer hits hard, man.
  7. nly reason I got one myself.. was ordered the incorrect phone but needed one 4 years ago. It was so outdated when I got it but for my use it was ok until it started showing it's age badly, had it over 3 years. The phone would freeze and not be able to answer calls, causing inner rage in myself. Finally got fed up, iPhone had the same deal going, but was on back order but having iPhones in the past, I much preferred android phones software, Pixel 9 Pro XL was $500 off, simply put, if it wasn't I would have settled for another Samsung A series. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy A03s to this is absolutely mind-blowing. There's virtually 0 wait when switching and opening apps. Id never pay 1k for a phone but very glad this one was on sale, it looks good and runs nicely!
  8. The fight to keep TikTok operating unchanged in the US reached an appeals court Monday, where TikTok and US-based creators teamed up to defend one of the world's most popular apps from a potential US ban. TikTok lawyer Andrew Pincus kicked things off by warning a three-judge panel that a law targeting foreign adversaries that requires TikTok to divest from its allegedly China-controlled owner, ByteDance, is "unprecedented" and could have "staggering" effects on "the speech of 170 million Americans." What do you think?
  9. Sizes increasing to 45 mm and 49 mm? I wonder if the Ultra will be 54? Or maybe it’s all bezel shrink this time.
  10. Why do I say that? I really love music, like a lot. Sometimes, I think it might even be a bit harmful how much I use headphones. I also value the visual appeal, features, and organization of apps a lot. Today, I tried switching to Spotify (I even have playlists there), but I couldn't use it because I missed some features, the same happened with Apple Music on Android. I could feel how much easier YT Music is once you get used to it. YT Music has been improving with each update. I think about a year ago or more, it was still quite unstable with its recommendations, etc. But man, recently it has improved so much; it now has the best music recommendations of any app. Its integration with the Android ecosystem is excellent. Its integration with YouTube is incredible. However, it still lacks some basic features that, for me, would make it perfect, such as: Organizing songs in playlists alphabetically, by artist, albums, etc. (something most apps have). Searching within playlists (would make things so much easier). Drag-and-drop to queue feature (also a basic feature). Improving offline mode. Playlist covers (honestly, I don't care much because I know some users might put up strange and inappropriate covers, so maybe that's why it's not there)."
  11. The changes come amid a steady, two-year-long decline in the share price. Since its New York listing via a blank-check merger in 2022, Polestar has been struggling with operational challenges, including the manufacturer’s slower-than-expected ramp up and a cooling demand for EVs. Last month, Nasdaq warned the company it could be delisted after management failed to file a 2023 annual report with the US securities regulator on time. Samuelsson was a driving force in the stock market listings of both Polestar and Volvo.
  12. Hi everyone, I'm planning to replace my old Dell tower with a new PC that I'll be building myself. I'm new to PC parts, so it's been quite a journey figuring it all out. Here’s the build I’m considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7gJWrv. Now, I need to choose a case. I love the design of the Meshify series but am having trouble deciding on a specific model. I initially picked the Meshify C based on its great reviews. Then I found the Meshify 2, which has a front USB-C port and other updates. Finally, I discovered the Meshify 2 Compact, which also has a front USB-C port but in a smaller form factor. Which case would you recommend for my build? The Meshify 2 seems quite large, and I might not need all that space. However, it might make the build process easier due to the extra room (since it’s my first time building a custom PC). Any advice on which case to choose and why? Thanks!
  13. These look like what you’d get if you put Sony’s WH-1000XM5 and Apple’s AirPods Max into a blender. The pleather ear cushions are magnetic and easily removable, though Sonos tosses in some thoughtful touches of its own; the insides are color-coded so you can easily tell which goes on what side. There’s a fingerprint-resistant coating on the exterior of the headphones to reduce smudges — particularly helpful for the black pair. And the memory foam headband has varying levels of padding to avoid putting too much pressure on any one section of your head.
