  1. U.S. GOV is voting to ban TikTok if China doesn’t sale its stake of ownership. TikTok says banning it will harm many creators & companies. This is why you never go full time as an influencer. Now all of these people are gonna be looking for jobs. Imagine these influencers like Drue & Gabe Basham, Skylar (Skysayingthings), Christen & Whitney, etc having to get normal people jobs now with their digital footprints. 😅 don’t even get me started on the mommy vloggers like Jacqueline.
  2. Can we have a list of what changes on iPad IOS 18.1 and Mac ? for those who doesn't have apple intelligence? All my devices support Apple intelligence, but since I my main language is French canada then Apple intelligence is not active yet
  3. I’m running the 18.1 PB and my experience is anything but stable. Scrolling through a longer list of notifications freezes and crashes. Icons disappear on my Home Screen Smaller icons glitch out in the App Library Home Screen icons change color randomly, adopting more than one color setting
  4. In which ways are the garmins better? Second hand usually comes with a much more limited warranty and is last likely to last as long as a new watch, which is what stops me buying second hand tech a lot of the time tbh, lots of people online saying they only get 2-3 years from their garmins which put me off a bit?
  5. Using an AI-generated digital replica to replace the contributions of an actor or performer’s voice or likeness — whether that individual is living or dead — is now against the law in California. California Governor Gavin Newsom on Tuesday signed a pair of bills that extend SAG-AFTRA’s recently won protections for AI into California law. The first bill, AB 1836, “prohibits the use of a deceased person’s voice or likeness in digital replicas without the prior consent of their estate,” according to SAG-AFTRA. The second, AB 2602, “prohibits contractual provisions that would allow for the use of a digital replica of an individual’s voice or likeness in place of the individual’s actual services,” unless the individual gave their consent to a clear, specific description of how the AI would be used.
  6. It would be great if they finally did the anti reflective screen that Samsung has. Maybe on the pro models and the non pro will get the 120hz display.
  7. I really don't understand why Jeep is trying to go up market. No one considers it a luxury brand. Why can't they opt for a similar strategy like Mazda? Where they make their mainline models compete against Chevy, Honda, Toyota. Then with the same car but with a higher trim level, make the interiors more luxurious to straddle against Acura, Mazda, BMW? I honestly don't think Jeep customers will buy an electric cars. I also don't think luxury car buyers would even consider a Jeep. Typical eurocentric Stellantis not knowing Jeep's primary customer base. They really are dropping the ball with this brand in the US.
  8. It's not just a security flaw. It's a core tenant of security that was ignored, overlooked, or even worse someone didn't even know which is INSANE when almost every single API comes with a quick "Hey don't let people see this shit, use a .env" Hey guys we built a combination lock that has the combo engraved on the side for easy access.
  9. Seems to be a lot cheaper than the other iphones- Is it still a good phone?
  10. Does an absurdly expensive and powerful tablet finally make sense? When you wrap all of those advancements together and pair them up with a redesigned, MacBook-like Magic Keyboard, the iPad Pro M4 is starting to look more and more like the ultra-light computer of my dreams. A super-powerful machine that's easy to take anywhere, with a gorgeous screen for binging TV shows and a capable keyboard for writing on the go. Maybe I'm just charmed by the side profile of the iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard, which looks like it could have been designed by Syd Mead in the '90s, imagining how laptops could be transformed in a few decades. Anyone taking the leap and buying one??
  11. The Beats Solo 4 definitely offers notable improvements in sound quality and battery life, and the addition of a modern switch to USB-C. Adjustments to the ear pads enhance comfort, particularly for those with larger heads, though the fit remains less than perfect. I'm not sure an upgrade is worth it if you're happy with your Solo 3 headphones. here's some pros and cons below. Pros: 50-hour battery life Improved sound quality USB-C No price increase Cons: Overly familiar design Not the most comfortable for big heads No multipoint Bluetooth on iOS No automatic pausing
  12. Love my laptop but need more screen space for when I'm on the go with my work laptop.. Help
  13. The PS5 Pro's rumored game-changing graphics boost could make it the definitive best console to experience GTA 6- when will we find out more??
  14. Samsung Galaxy A55 leaks in hands-on images, confirms flat sides. The device will have flat sides with only the buttons sitting on a protruding bit, like the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25. Do we think they're trying to emulate the iphone design??
  15. What will this include health app wise?

  18. Looking for a very good OLED TV- I've read this Sony one is one of the better ones for clear audio. Anyone own this already? I'd rather not add a soundbar..
