  1. Did anyone update and not get the new Siri redesign? Do you have to join the 'waitlist' for Apple Intelligence to get that too? It's a little silly but I've been looking forward to that new design for a minute now lol Update: the answer is yes, you have to opt in first! My ‘waitlist’ experience was like 8 minutes.
  2. It will pretty much be the same phone as the iPhone 15/Pro. But coming from an iPhone 12, if you decide to go for the 16 Pro, you’ll get some improvements. Notably the processor, the higher MP cameras, the higher refresh rate screen and the newer processor and thus Apple Intelligence. Other perks will be Dynamic Island and a bigger battery. If Rumors are correct, faster charging speeds and better battery tech will also be there
  3. One way to think about it: NO ONE will be able to replicate the tech & quality of DJI drones + the cameras they use for a solid decade+ once things go into effect. There’s potential for them to at worst hold their value as the supply dwindles and demand increases or stays the same IF, DJI is forced to pull all drone sales from the US or not be able to sell any new drones.
  4. Skip. 17 will be a worthy one since it will have the 120hz display across all the line up. Smaller Dynamic Island. Hopefully better cameras and battery. 16 is just S upgrade of 15
  5. The iPhone SE (2022) is the smallest and cheapest brand new iPhone you can buy. Despite its low price and cutely anachronistic size, the SE has the same processor inside as the much more expensive iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, making it a good idea for anyone wanting to save money but not compromise on performance. There’s no way around one simple fact: The iPhone SE (2022)’s battery is just too small to keep up with the A15 Bionic chip. It’s by far the biggest consideration for potential buyers. If you need the phone to last an entire day with higher than average use (meaning apps, video, games, photos, and calls, mostly on 4G or 5G), then the iPhone SE (2023) isn’t going to keep up.
  6. I've heard you can get free books for your kindle but not sure how. Any help?
  7. The roll out for this has just started in Korea and I believe it will be coming to other places very soon. The jist of it is that The Galaxy S22 range, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are getting almost all of Samsung’s current roster of AI features. This includes Live Translate, Circle to Search, Note Assist and generative image editing. The exception is the Instant Slo Mo camera feature, which is likely down to a lack of processing power in older handsets.
  8. What I've heard: - M4 chip and neural engine (truly AI powered) - deeply-integrated chatbots from one or more other companies like Google or OpenAI. - a big OLED upgrade - the next Apple Pencil (with haptic feedback) - a slightly thinner iPad with rounded edges like the iPhone 15 Pro
  9. Not used personally but heard very good things. https://thebrotographer.com/reviews/sigma-85mm-art/ Review here worth reading
  10. Seen this frame is quite a bit cheaper than the original price right now.. is that for a particular reason or is this a good projector to get?
  11. “Xperia Special Event 2024” is scheduled for May 17 and will be held at the Terrada Warehouse B&C Hall. What will they be likely to announce??
  12. Huawei's Watch 4 Pro was released last June, but now the company is refreshing it with a Space Exploration special edition, which has gone on pre-order in China today ahead of its release on April 12. This watch sounds like some sort of super watch!!!! I've never heard of a smart watch being well.. so smart!! Here's just a list of some of the things it can apparently do: - ceramic bezel and sapphire glass with a diamond-like coating - which should make it twice as stiff as other glass, thus it's better at resisting damage. - can be used for no-touch access to the Aito M9 car, co-developed by Huawei, which will unlock whenever the wearer is within 8m of it. - You can also control the car with your voice through the watch, to open its windows or trunk, and check the car's status via the Aito app on the watch. - has an eSIM and lets you take calls without your smartphone being nearby. - It has 13 health indicators and a more precise health report than other smartwatches - The watch has 5ATM/50m water resistance - It can pair with phones running Huawei's HarmonyOS 2.0 and above, Android 8.0 and above, and even iOS 13 and above. - In normal mode, its battery life is advertised as 4.5 days, whereas in the battery saver mode it can go up to 21 days.!!!! To me this is a no brainer. It sounds like the best thing since sliced bread. What am I missing here? Why isn't everyone buying Huawei smart watches??
  13. Asus’ new OLED laptops run on the latest AI-capable chips. The new chips should be able to better handle AI with neural processing units built for it, while improving power efficiency and making gaming, multitasking, and editing faster.
  14. https://www.tomsguide.com/computing/vr-ar/cheaper-meta-quest-3-lite-just-leaked-heres-your-first-look Meta is looking to drop that $499 price tag with a cut-back headset aimed squarely at budget buyers- wondering what this headset won't be able to do by being so much cheaper??
  15. Apple's iPhone sales in China plunge 24% as Huawei's popularity surges. The U.S. tech giant's chief competitor in China in premium smartphones, Huawei, saw unit sales rise by 64% in the period, according to the report. This could fan fears of a slowdown in demand for the U.S. company, whose revenue forecast for the current quarter was $6 billion below Wall Street expectations. Will this affect the US market?
  16. Am I right in thinking that this laptop screen has actually been manufactured by Samsung?? Are they part of the Samsung brand?
  17. Meta's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, took to Instagram to share his thoughts on Apple's Vision Pro, highlighting the intensifying rivalry following the debut of Apple's mixed reality headset. Capturing his review with a Meta Quest 3, Zuckerberg was straightforward in comparing the Vision Pro to Meta's offering. He initially thought the Quest would primarily offer better value, given its price is "like seven times less expensive" than the $3,500 Vision Pro. But after trying out his competitor's product, Zuckerberg declared that the Quest is "the better product, period." What do we all think??
  18. https://www.pcgamer.com/aokzoe-a1-pro-review-performance/ Pretty good read on the AOKZOE A1's capabilities and specs
  19. Anyone have this laptop? Looking to buy this soon.
  20. Some people have had trouble connecting to specific routers, but most people are finding that the signal drops frequently. In some cases the problem is exacerbated when Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on at the same time. There’s also a possibility that the power-saving Stamina Mode is having an impact because it stops automatic syncing and cuts connections when you turn the display off. Workarounds: Make sure that Bluetooth is turned off. Turn the Stamina Mode off. It should be off by default, but you can check in Settings > Power management > STAMINA mode. Possible solutions: Restart the router and the phone. Double check that you have the right details and password. Ensure that you have the latest firmware. For your Xperia Z this should come as an OTA update, but for your router you’ll need to check the manufacturer’s website or with your ISP. Try changing the channel on your router and make sure that DHCP is on. Turn MAC filter off on your router and/or add your phone’s MAC address. Try Sony’s PC Companion. Install on your PC and go to Support Zone > Start > Phone Software Update > Start. If you already have the latest version choose Repair phone and follow the instructions. Hope this helps!

  22. Does anyone know how this camera will stand up against the likes of the Sony a1 and Nikon Z9?
