A lot of ridiculous products but one particularly impressive and life-changing product was Abbott’s Lingo Continuous Glucose Monitoring. The Abbott Lingo offering is a non-invasive glucose monitor designed to provide real-time health insights. This is crucial for proactive health management, making it easier for users to track their wellness without invasive testing. Real-time data and a non-invasive design provide continuous health insights, empowering proactive health decisions without discomfort. And it’s only around $50

This could also be CEC fixes like the Deck got months ago... Deckard is meant to be a "Steam Deck in VR" and supposedly Desktop Game Theater supports 3D now... Roy controllers look like Steam Deck controls... Steam deck -> "Your games, Everywhere" Steam Deck OLED -> "Your Games, In a whole new light" Deckard -> "Your Games, in another dimension" If a major selling point of it is that "It's just a VR Steam Deck, so you can play all your games in 3D" it would make sense for it to support a docking station like the Steam Deck... If you can play your 2D games on the headset in VR, why not leverage the USB C port (it's gotta have one to charge anyways) for docking capabilities too? And if it's dockable and running Steam(VR) OS, it'd basically just act like a Steam Deck when you dock it... Another note is... If that is the case, HDMI CEC support is a pretty non-critical function that I'd think would come pretty late in development, so it's possible the EV versions are done and they're into the DV versions, possibly even getting to final production and this is just getting some day-zero or day-one software updates ready...

Is anyone else confused about the supposed "redesign" so they fit better? Aside from the black parts, they look exactly the same size and shape as gen 3 airpods. Gen 3 fall out of my ears any time I laugh or smile, gen 2 fits way better. I can't wear the pros.

Finally! The company will soon start producing various lenses for the Canon EOS-R system, starting with their venerable APS-C line. This should fill the gap in Canon’s lineup, between entry-level, rather slow zoom lenses and high-end RF L lenses designed for Full Frame use. I personally cannot wait! Anyone use the SIGMA Art series lenses?

Very frustrated- the last couple of days my apple watch has been playing up (I have only had this watch since December 2023). First of all it started missing steps and not correctly showing my movement throughout the day, the next day it glitched entirely and locked me out. Kept telling me the passcode was incorrect but then loads of numbers would keep popping up when i tried to type my passcode. This then led to me having to wait another 59 minutes before I could attempt to get back in.. I eventually had to reset the entire watch. The next day I travelled from the UK to Dubai and my watch is now showing movement and exercise rings that I haven't even had yet.. What's going on with my watch? Help!

Building my own computer for gaming.. Things I'm considering include: - case fans - Insulation - Airflow Thermal performance vs Noise levels I've narrowed it down to two cases- Fractal Design Torrent and Lian Li O11 Vision. Anyone feel one is better and for what reason?

Ambilight is typically the best reason to opt for Philips, but this is a very subjective feature that people either love or hate. You'll have to wait and see what the prices are to know if it's worth going this route, or Samsung/LG. The 3,000 NITS brightness sounds impressive though!

Which model? I think the Xiaomi's get a lot more sales and users outside of North America & Europe, and if YouTube reviews are anything to go by, they are well regarded.

Apple Vision Pro- how likely to use it??
polarbearguy replied to stainedmonster's topic in Vision Pro
I think the Apple Vision Pro is going to buck the trend of developers giving up shortly after launch. Developers will be remembering the early days of the App Store and how much cash there was to be made, so I think we'll see lots of development and apps in the first year. I think it'll only get serious though when they announce a more 'consumer friendly' model (maybe a non-pro) as right now, whilst 200,000 orders is impressive, it's not a lot of users in the grand scheme of things to make a lot of money from app sales. Once the reviews start to come out later today, we'll see if the weight issue is overblown or not. -
For CES 2024, Acer is expanding its SpatialLabs lineup with a new $1,400 15-inch Aspire laptop. This 3D laptop is coming out next month for around the same price as a 15-inch M2 MacBook Air. Any thoughts?

It's a huge step up from the Mini 3 but it's still not going to get you pro-level or broadcast quality video. Great for enthusiasts and prosumers though. Love my Mini 3 Pro, will probably wait until at least the 5 or 6 before I consider upgrading.

Yeah there's even rumours that the PS5 Pro will be bundled with GTA 6, which makes a lot of sense for pushing units.
