Keep seeing sub-£250 monitors bragging about DisplayHDR 400 and honestly I think it's marketing. No local dimming, edge-lit, maybe 400 nits peak. Every time I toggle HDR on a cheap panel in a shop it looks washed out and flatter than just leaving it in SDR. Far as I can tell real HDR needs a lot...
