Will my RTX 3060 even hold 1440p or should I stay 1080p?

Thinking about going 1440p on the next monitor but ive got an RTX 3060 and im worried the card cant keep up. From what i can tell 1440p is roughly 30-40% more load than 1080p, so the games im on would drop from a comfy 120ish down to maybe 60-90fps. Is that the reality or does the 3060 handle 1440p...
