matte or glossy when there's a window right behind me?

my desk has a window behind it and my current panel turns into a mirror the second it's sunny, basically unusable till evening. so for the new one is matte anti-glare the obvious pick, or does the grainy coating people mention actually make text look a bit hazy up close. i mostly just want to stop...
