How much sharper is 27in 1440p for text vs 24in 1080p

everyone frames the 1440p decision as a gaming thing but the monitor is on all day for browsing, discord and general faffing. my old 24in 1080p is coarse enough that text always looks a bit chunky and rough round the edges. a 27in 1440p is around 109 PPI. is that jump actually noticeable for text...
