WQHD vs FHD - Is the upgrade worth it?

Hey everyone, Been seeing a lot of talk about resolution lately, specifically whether upgrading from Full HD (1080p) to WQHD (1440p) is actually worth it. I've got both, so figured I'd chime in. I daily drive a Samsung LS27CG512ENXZA (27", 1440p, 165Hz) and also have a Dell S2425HS (23.8", 1080p, 100Hz) as a secondary monitor. The difference in sharpness is definitely noticeable, *especially* on larger screens. I wouldn't go back to 1080p as my main screen. For gaming, the higher pixel density of the 1440p panel is great. You get more detail. However, it *does* require a more powerful GPU to run games smoothly at higher settings. Keep that in mind. I'd say if you're on a smaller screen (like 24"), the jump to 1440p might not be as impactful. But on anything 27" or larger, it's absolutely worth considering if you've got the horsepower to drive it. What are your experiences with different resolutions?
