next monitor - what should i be looking for?

hey everyone, so i'm looking to upgrade my gaming monitor setup. i'm currently rocking the asus rog strix xg32wcs and its been pretty great honestly, especially that 180hz refresh rate, butter smooth. but, i'm thinking of adding a second monitor, maybe something a bit different this time around. what kind of panel tech have you guys been liking lately? i've got a va panel now, which is nice, but i'm curious about ips for colour accuracy and how that translates to gaming. also, considering i'm used to a curved screen, is it worth sticking with or should i try a flat one as a secondary display? any personal experiences would be awesome.
