Coming from a Kia EV6 which had paddles for granular regen and an i-Pedal mode that I genuinely loved. Hopped into a mate's BYD at the weekend for a long drive and the regen feels like it has two settings: "barely anything" and "yanks your head off the headrest at low speed". Maybe I just didn't find the right menu, but the standard mode coasts way more than I'd want and the strong mode is too aggressive for smooth city driving. There seems to be no in-between, no creep adjustment, no proper one-pedal feel where you can come to a complete stop. Am I missing something obvious in the settings? Is there a setting buried somewhere that adds a third level, or a planned OTA that brings paddle-style adjustment? Know it's a small thing but I drive in town a lot and this is the kind of detail that decides whether the car is daily-pleasant or daily-annoying.
